The Veggies Keep Coming

The herbs are doing very well. I've made 2 big batches of pesto so far (30-40 mini-muffins) and I still have enough Basil to make 6-7 more batches. The Chives are just crazy. Parsley is doing great and the Rosemary is doing good too, although it's pretty buried at this point. Bees and Wasps are always good to have around the garden.

The Cayenne have been turning red for quite a while now and the rest of the peppers are finally changing colours too. The Green Peppers are ready, the Orange Peppers are turning. I picked 2 of them the other day and the rest are still turning. The Habaneros are finally turning orange too. Kickass! I'm not sure what to do with all of them though. Louis made hot sauce so maybe I'll make jelly. The El Jefe peppers did great but there aren't many of them left since I pickled most of them last weekend. Can't wait to try those bad boys.

The tomato plants look like hell these days but the tomatoes just won't stop. I can pick a colander full pretty much every 2 days. Thank god for roommates and co-workers! I thought the Green Beans were done, but no, another hue load of them today.

I thought the cucumbers were done for the year... but I was wrong. Apparently, they just needed a break, and they're back in full swing. Also, I've got 4 Cantaloupes that look like they're pretty much ready to eat. Can you spot all 4 of them?

Here's this morning's tomato and bean harvest. Not shown is the cucumber I picked and the Orange peppers I picked yesterday. Bring it on.

Here's Dale's Sunflower. It's doing quite well considering it was grown from seed and planted pretty late in the season.
