Transplanted Brown-Eyed Susan and "Yellow Flower" from temporary garden spot to front yard strip. By the end of the day the Susie is very wilted and doesn't look good at all.
Turned soil with cappy broken shovel, pulled weeds and trimmed peppermint, thyme and chives which are all aparently perenials.
Added 3 bags of compost, 1 bag of mixed, composted manure, 1 bag of mushroom compost leftover from last year and 2 bags of top soil leftover from Dale, turned it all in with crappy broken shovel and raked it all flat.
Planted the following vegetables and herbs which I purchased at Loblaws yesterday (~$70 including compost and manure). The new herbs were planted next to the herbs left from last year (in the middle of the north leg) and the tomatoes and peppers were mixed throughout the east leg and 2/3 of the north leg of the garden.
- Purple Basil
- Parsley (flat leaf)
- Oregano
- Big Tomatoes
- Medium Tomatoes
- Cherry Tomatoes (x2)
- Yellow Cherry Tomatoes
- Yellow Pear Tomatoes
- Grape Tomatoes
- Green Peppers
- Red Peppers
- Yellow Peppers
- Sweet Banana Peppers
- Hot Banana Peppers
- Jalapeno Peppers
- Cayenne Peppers
Covered the planted part of the garden with 2 bags of cedar mulch.
Watered everything.
